Offbeat Places in Assam

Assam, the largest state among the seven-sister states in India and is situated south of the eastern Himalayas along the Brahmaputra and the Barak river valleys. 

This state is wildly known for it's rich flavour of Assam Tea and national parks abounding in one-horned Indian Rhinoceros, elephants, deer, and a respectable number of tigers too. 
It is also the most accessible state in the north-eastern states of India and hence the most visited. Still, there are many places in Assam that are rarely visited by tourists and can be termed as offbeat destinations.
